ABSU Cut off Mark 2024/2023

the join admission and Matriculation Board JAMB has announced that the official cut off mark for ABSU remains 180 across board.

this means that candidates who sat for the just concluded JAMB exams and score a minimum of 180 are expected to purchase the post utme screening form.

ABSU admission requirement 2024/2023

there two mode of admission into Abia state university, uteru. one is through UTME and the other is through Direct Entry.

• Candidate who gained admission are expected to study for a minimum of 4 years depending on their course of study.
• While Direct Entry candidates are expected to spend a minimum of 3 years.

ABSU Departmental Cut off Mark

• Before you will be consider for admission you must first sit for the post UTME screening exercise and meet the departmental cut off mark.
• Note that ABSU departmental cut off mark is different from JAMB general cut off mark.
• Departmental cut off mark is an agreed score a candidate must attain before he will be considered for admission. this is the deciding factor that comes into play before a candidate will be admitted.

ABSU Nature of Admission Screening

ABSU post utme normally comes up a few months after the join admission and Matriculation Board JAMB has released all results.

Candidates who meet the general cut off mark are invited to come forward to purchase ABSU post utme screening form for a non refundable fee of 2000 naira only.

ABSU admission requirement

once you have been admitted you will be subjected to both departmental and faculty clearance. during this clearance you are expected to come along with the following documents :

• you are to present your original O level results.
• Birthday certificates
• jamb result slip
• passport photographs
• medical fitness tests results
• local government certification.
